I know I haven't posted anything in an while, but when you have to run to the bathroom every couple hours to puke, lose 10 pounds and just feel really, really crappy the last thing you want to do is write a blog. Don't get me wrong, I wrote blogs in my head that I wanted to post, but I just couldn't get together with my computer and internet to make it happen.
Melissa tagged me and wants to know 10 truths about me.... Ready or not, here we go....
1. I LOVE reading. While in bed puking, I decided to start clearing out my bookshelf. I probably got through 10 novels. My husband missed my company last year as I tore through the Twilight and Love Comes Softly Series. (And yes, I did this will all of my previous pregnancies also.)
2. I HATE being pregnant and am glad this will be the last time. Four kids is plenty. I wish three kids ago we could have implanted a uterus in my hubby, but that just wasn't an option. At least the relatively-simple births of my children makes up for the intense puking.
3. I prefer to sit at home and do nothing to going out. I like to watch TV or a movie, work on my latest cross-stitch, read a book. It is just so soothing to lay around in PJs on the couch with my hubby.
4. I miss college. I wish I would have finished my degree. (Dang Mr. Logan and his messing up my school schedule with his conception.) But at least I have decided what I want to be when I grow up and can change my degree accordingly, because I not longer want to be an accountant.
5. I want a blonde-hair, blue eyed baby. This has been my dream since my teenage years and I totally thought it would happen since that is what I am and those were the boys I was attracted to. But a 1/4 asian kid later and 2 Ray clones I am sadly disappointed. I am still holding onto the small glimmer of hope that baby #4 could fulfull this wish.
6. I am obsessed with my ipod. (My husband regrets getting it for me.) Between the Armstrong & Getty podcasts, my extensive music files and Cookie Solitaire my sons are left to watch PBS all morning.
7. I am totally into canning. If I hadn't have gotten pregnant I would have done beans, tomatoes, potatoes, salsa and I wouldn't be missing out on applesauce right now. I look forward to next year, I even bought a water bath canner and pressure cooker, now I just need an outdoor stove to use them on.
8. I get my hair cut maybe once a year. I just don't make it to SuperCuts often. I figure my hair is pulled back 6 days of the week why bother. (Yes, I know that Sara is dying right now, but I just can't bring myself to spend the money on a haircut more often.)
9. I love goodwill....well, thrift stores in general. DI, Savers, Other Mothers and Kid to Kid. I love getting cute clothes for my kids and myself at a fraction of the cost anywhere else. Plus you can find some wonderful finds there. (Enter the two boppys that i scored for $3. Yes that was both of them.)
10. I am very big on family. I love my kids and they just make me laugh everyday. I have the single greatest husband in the world. (Who else would go to Poli Sci and Humanities to take notes for their wife for 2 months? Keep in mind, he already graduated from college and this was after coming home from 8 hours of work, then making dinner, correcting Kim's homework and throw in all the other household chores you can imagine.) My parents are amazing and never hesitate to talk to my 3 year old about his potty success. My siblings are just too much fun for words.
Ah, 10 very not interesting things about me. I sadly realized while doing this exercise that I am rather boring. I should work on that. :)
Guess I am suppost to tag someone....don't know who reads my blog so I pick Lindsay....we had great times together at the Sign Post.
